ダイヤルアップ接続をおこない、他のLAN上にあるのDBサーバーに接続する処理を行っています。
そのときに、VBでダイヤルアップ接続を行って、DBサーバーに接続を行うとタイムアウトで落ちてしまいます。
ダイヤルアップ接続のあとにループによる負荷をかけてからDBサーバーに接続を行うとうまくいきます。
負荷のかけかたが、環境によってずれてしまうので。。。。。
多分なんですけどPINGが通ったあとなら、うまく接続できると思うのでどなたかPINGのソースの書き方教えてくれませんか?もしくは、いい負荷のかけ方教えてくらませんか?

負荷を掛けるというのは分かりませんが、
PINGのやり方は、分かるのでカキコします。

ちょこと書くと、
質問時は、ただ単にループ(DoEventsのみ書いてある)を行って
ある程度ループしたら抜ける処理をしていました。
終了条件がカウントのみでした。
そこでPINGが通れば処理を終了にしたかったわけです。(もしくは別の方法があれば教えて欲しかったわけです。)
つまり、何かいい終了条件を教えて欲しかったってことです。
